Mission Statement

The mission of the Agent Advisory Council is to provide a forum to express ideas, share best practices and to communicate priorities and initiatives between LPS and its valued agent network.


About the Council

In 2007, LPS Asset Management Solutions, Inc. created the Agent Advisory Council. The Council is comprised of leading REO brokers and agents who have demonstrated a deep understanding of the unique nature of the industry, have proven themselves to be effective partners in the management and disposition of LPS asset properties, and have committed to participate and meet the requirements of the council.

In its first year of existence the council has assisted in:

  • Crafting the network support functions of the Agent Network Consultant
  • Designing new forms and processes that will be critical to the efficacy of LPS’ new Operating System (Launch date later this year)
  • Implementing LPS “Right Size” strategy of maintaining and managing the optimal quantity and quality agent network
  • Sharing agent best practices around critical processes, such as – Cash-for-Keys, Effective BPO and MMR reports, etc.
  • Providing market data for Area Studies

Wayne Flanagan

John Agostinelli

World Properties International, MA

John has over 20 years of experience in banking, real estate brokerage, and real estate development and is starting his second term on the Advisory Council. He has been selling bank owned property since he worked at the FDIC in the early 90’s. Drawing on his extensive background John has developed the REO “Fast Track” Program for banks, mortgage lenders and asset management companies to sell bank-owned properties efficiently and to mitigate losses. His company offers a group of turnkey services that includes foreclosure sales, short sales, asset management, maintenance and real estate brokerage services. John and his team are marketing and negotiating professionals utilizing the Harvard Negotiating Project & Cooper Management techniques and strategies.

Eddie Blanco

Eddie Blanco, a Florida native, became a Realtor shortly after he obtained his Associates Degree in Business Management. For over 11 years, Eddie has been actively selling real estate. His experience in real estate includes residential sales and leasing, property management, REO sales and commercial property ownership. In the last 7 years, Eddie has successfully closed on over $65 million in Bank Owned Real Estate. His passion for real estate has inspired him to train and coach over 100 real estate professionals. His commitment to service and professionalism lead him to serve on the Residential Board of Governors for the Realtor Association of Miami. As the Broker and Owner of 5 Diamond Management and Real Estate, LLC, Eddie actively lists and sells REO properties in addition to managing his offices in Miami, FL & Biloxi, MS.

Marc Carpenter

Marc Carpenter & Associates, CA

With 20 years in REO sales, Marc Carpenter is a nationally recognized REO Agent that sells property in San Diego County. Marc has been featured on ABC News, Nightline, local television and local newspapers. He regularly speaks at REO Conferences about best practices and market conditions. Marc also sits on the advisory boards for a number of Banks and Outsourcers.

Bill Jorgensen

Prudential Americana Group Realtors

Bill Jorgensen has been a full time Realtor since 1986. He has lived and practiced Real Estate in the Las Vegas area for the past 15 years and has 11 years of experience in the REO business. He leads the number 3 team in North America for units closed within the Prudential Network for 2008. Bill holds the CRS, GRI designations. He has been serving on the LPS-AMS Agent Advisory Council since 2008.

Cynthia Kenner

Keller Williams Realty, AZ

Cynthia Kenner started in real estate in 1979 where she was involved in corporate relocation and commercial sales. In 1983 she began focusing solely on the REO field and has made it her specialty ever since. Cynthia has moved with the market – selling in Arizona, California, Texas, Nevada and Colorado. She was ranked the number 1 Keller Williams Agent for units sold in 2008 and ranked number 9 by the Wall Street Journal for most units sold for all companies. When Cynthia’s not selling real estate, she enjoys water & snow skiing, hiking and working out.

Mark Kivley

RE/MAX Lakeside, WI

Mark Kively has been a real estate agent since 1983 and has been a licensed broker since 1999. He employs 5 full-time assistants; 3 of whom are licensed agents. Mark specializes in foreclosed and distressed properties, including environmental contamination. He has sold over 2,500 foreclosed properties in his career, has averaged 175 sold REO’s per year over the last 5 years and completed over 900 BPO’s in 2005. He is a lifetime resident of the greater Milwaukee area, and has been selling real estate both in Milwaukee County and the surrounding ten-county area his entire career. Additionally, Mark is a member of the Re/Max Hall of Fame, has received a Lifetime Achievement Award from Re/Max International and was awarded “Broker/Owner of the Year: 2005 & 2008” by Re/Max North Central. He is affiliated with REOMAC, is a LMC Certified Loss Mitigation Consultant, NRBA member and is the Broker/Owner of Re/Max Lakeside in Milwaukee.

John Lynch

Keller Williams-Greater Cleveland West, OH

John Lynch is the Broker of Keller Williams Realty Greater Cleveland West in Westlake, Ohio and is a Certified General Appraiser at Lynch & Company. He is a former Cleveland City Councilman, President of the Cleveland Area Board of Realtors – 1993, the Ohio Association of Realtors – 1999, and a Director of National Association of Realtors from 1993-2008. He was appointed to the Board of the Ohio Housing Finance Agency (2007-2013). He is a graduate of Xavier University with a BS in Political Science.

Kristine Marshall

Coldwell Banker Associated Brokers, CA

Kristine Marshall began her real estate career in 1998, when she joined Coldwell Banker Associated Brokers Realty. Kristine quickly excelled to become one of the companies top agents, in both listing and buyers side sales, receiving numerous awards and accolades. She also helped facilitate the establishment of and ran the company’s in-house Marketing Department. Kristine also serves as a mentor in the Coldwell Banker training program. In 2006, Kristine began to focus heavily on REO sales and is currently one of the top bank owned listing Realtors in the Inland Empire. Kristine currently lives in Murrieta, California with her husband Jim, where they are raising their three children. She spends some of her spare time volunteering for the National Brain Tumor Society.

Kim Pitaniello

Kim Pitaniello has worked in the REO/Servicing business for 14 years. Worked in Default and REO at WAMU from 1996-2001, REO outsourcing from 2001-2004. Kim moved to Colorado where she has been selling REO’s since 2004. In 2008, Kim was ranked the #5 REMAX Agent in the world selling over 700 properties in 2008.

Jim Roy

Long & Foster, REALTORS, MD

After college, Jim Roy spent 2 years in West Africa in the Peace Corps. After returning to the US and moving to Washington DC metro area, he obtained his real estate license. Within a few years he became a top producer for Mid-Atlantic’s largest real estate firm, Long & Foster. Over the years, he formed a tight cohesive team of Realtors. With 3 buyers’ agents and a full time assistant (who handles much of his foreclosure work), he and his team have closed over $200 million in sales between 1999 and 2009, currently ranked #15 out of his company’s 10,000+ agents and was selected as one of Realtor magazine’s top 30 under 30 in 2003. He has also built 4 townhomes, has almost completed his primary residence and renovated about 10 rental properties.

Jason Shapiro

Mr. Shapiro is the founder, principal and manager of the REO division of Rising Realty, a national real estate company which specializes in the disposition of bank owned commercial and residential foreclosure properties. The company is headquartered in Chicago, IL and has a national network of real estate brokerage offices across the U.S.

As a licensed attorney and real estate broker in Illinois and Florida, Mr. Shapiro has extensive legal, real estate brokerage, and mortgage default experience including representation of banking clients in federal and state real estate litigation. Mr. Shapiro earned his Juris Doctor from the John Marshall Law School and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from The University of Arizona. He is a member of the Illinois Association of Realtors, Chicago Association of Realtors, Illinois State Bar Association, Florida State Bar Association, Northern District of Illinois and Southern District of Florida.

Matthew Stamer

Exit Realty Central, FL

Matthew Stamer owns Exit Realty Central in Orlando, FL and has built the company to over 160 real estate agents. Exit Realty Central has closed over 1,500 homes in 5 years and expects to close over 800 homes in 2009. Matthew is also very active in local real estate boards and sits on various committees which include governmental and professional standards.
